Think of か (ka) as a spoken question mark. Add it to the end of a statement to turn it into a question. For example, 大丈夫です ("I'm okay") becomes 大丈夫ですか ("Are you okay?").
Statement + か → Question (e.g., 大丈夫です → 大丈夫ですか?)
